This Site's Beginnings...

September 21, 2008

Deer New Users & Viewers,

If you're reading this I'm glad you've found your way to this site!  We're in the early stages of construction but have high hopes of adding lots of tidbits - photos, tips, etc. - that deal with deer and habitat.  Myself, I'm a life-long passionate hunter and live and breath deer and the outdoors this time of year.  I love tending my food plots and whitetail gardens throughout the summer and dabble in mock scrapes and scents during the fall.  Anyway, if things are goin' slow in the site updatin' department, it's probably because I'm either checking trail cameras or am lucky to be sitting 23 feet up in a tree somewhere waiting to catch a glimpse of anything that resembles antler (most likely I'm working or tending to family commitments though, but a guy can wish can't he?).

Our goal with Quality New England Whitetails is to focus on whitetails and their habitat.  Our sister site, www.whitetailmicroplotters.com, is primarily habitat and ALL sorts of wildlife - not just deer.  The hunting-like details from that site will be transferred to this site, photo galleries included.  Like WMP's, this site too will have a "store" (banner at top of home page on both sites) with many food plot/whitetail garden seeds and blends available to you.  Big surprise here... the store is under construction too.

We will keep you updated as necessary, and if you have any ideas or photos you'd like to post, feel free. We welcome all sorts of respectful deer jargon!  If you have any questions or comments or would like help posting your pictures, drop me a line @ vaughnp@sover.net.  Hope the autumn is treating you crisp and sweet!

Best regards,

Vaughn Perkins
